Madhya pRadesh: Bus plunges into river, 14 killed

Sidhi (MP), Sep 29: A total of 14 people were killed and 45 others injured when a private bus plunged into the Kachni river from a bridge near Baithan in Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh today.

Police said 14 bodies, including that of two women and 2 children, were recovered and search for other possible missing was in progress. The bus plying on Baithan-Mada route remained partially submerged.

The injured were being treated at the government hospital at Baithan, police added. The accident site is about 100 Km from this district town.
