Bad weather: flight returns to Chennai

Chennai, Sep 29 (UNI) A Portblaire-bound Chennai-Portblaire jet airways flight returned here, as it could not land in the Island due to bad weather conditions.

Official sources told UNI, the flight with 110 passengers left for Portblaire around 1410 hrs and returned to Kamaraj Domestic Airport at 1600 hrs.

All the passengers were accommodated in different hotels in the city and they would be taken to their destination by tomorrow, the sources added.
