Anand to take on 40 contestants simultaneously

Chennai, Sep 29 (UNI)Ambassador and spokesperson for 'Vidya Sagar', an NGO working with differently abled persons, will play a 'simultaneous exhibition match against 40 people', here on October 8 to raise funds funds for various projects being implemented by the NGO for persons with disability.

According to a press release from Anand's event manager 'TNQ Sponsorship Private Limited, the 40 persons who wish to take on the genius Anand in the game of 64 squares, would have to buy a ticket for Rs 6000. The ticket would be for two persons with one of them getting the opportunity to play against the World No two.

If one just wishes to attend the event and see 40 people taking on Anand, he would have to pay Rs 3000, contributing at the same time, to a good cause.

The event billed as 'Vishy vs Everybody', is in fact, a sequel to 'Vishy vs Chennai' event which was held in July last when Anand took on 93 people from the southern states.

''It's a special feeling to be associated with Vidya Sagar. It is a place where behind every child's laugher there is a story'', Anand said about the event.
