23000 villages in Asom to be covered under Immunization programme

Guwahati, Sep 29 (UNI) About 23,000 villages in Asom will be covered by a special immunization programme under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), which will be launched from November and continue till April 2007.

The Special Immunization Programme will be organized in Kamrup district with active cooperation of Kamrup and Kamrup Metro District Administration, in association with Social Welfare, DRDA, Panchayat Raj Institute, Education Department and NGOS.
