TRS urges Governor to dismiss AP CM
Hyderabad, Sep 27 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) today submitted a memorandum to Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameshwar Thakur urging him to dismiss the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who it alleged, was responsible for a ''big scam in the acquisition of land for the Outer Ring Road.'' A delegation led by former Union Minister A Narendra and party MPs and MLAs met the Governor and submitted the memorandum.
The delegation alleged that ''apart from Dr Reddy, several Ministers, MLAs and Congress leaders were involved in the scam.'' Mr Narendra said that TRS had no confidence that a CBI enquiry announced by the Chief Minister would bring facts to light.
The CBI had become Congress Bureau of Investigation, he alleged.
Talking to newspersons after meeting the Governor, Mr Narendra alleged that crores of rupees had changed hands in the land acquisition.
