SPO killed in freak mishap

Kishtwar, Sep 27 (UNI) A Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir Police was killed last night after his gun went off when he was cleaning the weapon in Doda district, police said.

According to the police, Hoshiar Singh, posted at Dessa police station, was cleaning his rifle while on duty.

He was immediately rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way.
