Rally to mark beginning of Bharat Nirman PIC commences

Vuyyuru (Andhra Pradesh), Sep 27 (UNI) A rally to mark the beginning of 'Bharat Nirman' Public Information Campaign (PIC) was flagged off here today by local legislator Kolusu Parthasaradhi.

The rally organised by by Press Information Bureau (PIB) in association with other media units of Information and Broadcasting Ministry would last till October first.

It was organised to focus the importance of the campaign and create awareness on 'bharat nirman' among the public. The colourful rally led by dancing drummers was organised from Veeramma temple to A G S G Siddhartha College, the main venue of PIC.

Students of various schools and colleges, scouts, NCC cadets, youth from Nehru Yuva Kendra, staff of postal department holding banners and play cards impressed the general public.

Union Minister of state for Health Panabaka Lakshmi and state municipal administration Minister Koneru Ranga Rao had consented to participate in the campaign on September 28 and 30.
