PMK seeks G.O on executing apex court order on Mullaperiyar

Chennai, Sep 27 (UNI)PMK founder-President S Ramadoss today appealed to Tamil Nadu government to pass a government order (G.O.) to execute the order of the Supreme Court on rising the level of water in the Mullaperiyar dam.

On February 27, the apex court had delivered the verdict that the Tamil Nadu government could go ahead and increase the water level in the dam to 142 ft from the present 136 ft.

Speaking at the party's demonstration to condemn the Kerala government's alleged indifferent attitude over implementing the apex court verdict on the dam issue, he also wanted the Tamil Nadu government to immediately convene a meeting of the officials concerned for executing the apex court direction.
