No possibility of returning to BJP: Babulal

Dumka, Sep 27: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Democratic) president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today ruled out returning to the BJP.

Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Marandi said there was no possibility to return to the BJP, adding the party was being distanced from the people.

Mr Marandi said the JVM(D) was formed to ensure participation of commoners in the government and the organisation would work for the benefit of the people.

Mr Marandi said for the first time in Jharkhand, the UPA succeeded to form a government, led by an Independent candidate, but it would be a tough task for Chief Minister Madhu Koda to continue with his partners.

Criticising the newly formed government, he alleged that there was total chaos as the departments had become non-functional.

Portfolios among the Ministers in the UPA-backed Koda government were yet to be distributed, he added.

To a query, Mr Marandi said the new government would soon collapse because of internal squabblings among the partners, adding the mid- term poll was the only option left in the state.
