Met office predict scattered rains during pujas

Met department said the there might be scattered rains in some isolated parts of the state due to a weak cyclonic circulation marked at North East Bay adjoining Central Bay of Bengal.

The puja organisers utilised the opportunity to deck up the pandals and bringing the idols from Kumartuli. Preparations were hampered last week following torrential rains which submerged various parts of the city and created flood-like situation in some districts.
