Man held for possessing 'desi tamancha'

Ambaji, Sep 27 (UNI) On a tip-off police arrested a man here yesterday night and seized a 'desi tamancha' and two rounds of cartridges from him.

The man who gave his name as Jayshree Dadaram works as a security guard at a marble mines factory here. He is said to be from Musanagar in Uttar Pradesh.

Following the ongoing Navratri festival here there has been tight police bandobast. The police are seeking a 10-day remand for Dadaram from the court today.
