Kamal Nath to be honoured with doctorate

Jabalpur, Sep 27 (UNI) Union Commerce Minister Kamal Nath and former Chief Justice of India R C Lahoti will be among five prominent people to be bestowed with honorary doctorate by Jabalpur's Rani Durgawati University at its 21st convocation ceremony on October 12.

President A P J Abdul Kalam will be the chief guest at the convocation.

University Chancellor and Governor Balram Jakhar had also approved the proposal to bestow honorary doctorate to BARC-Mumbai Director B C Sahni, New Delhi-AIIMS former Director Dr Sneh Bhargav and Lt Gen D D S Sandhu, according to University Vice Chancellor Dr S M Pal Khurana.

He said 198 meritorious students would be given gold medal, Ph D to 200 others and D Litt to two students at the convocation.
