IT raids at 11 places in Morbi

Rajkot, Sep 27 (UNI) Income Tax (IT) officials today carried out raids at eleven places in Morbi town, 70 kms from here.

Official sources said the raids were conducted at the offices and residential premises of five persons engaged in land dealing and construction works. Three share brokers and two offices of construction agency were also raided, sources said.

The raids have unearthed several documents relating to land dealings and shares, fixed deposit receipts and cash worth about Rs 80 lakh from a person involved in construction works, sources added.
