Internationals for South Zone Badminton tourney

Kozhikode, Sep 27 (UNI) Internationals P Kashyap, C M Vidhyadhar, Sanave Thomas, Ajit Wijetilak, Aparna Balan and Rutn Misha, will be among 125 players participating in the 62nd Inter-State (South Zone) badminton championships 2006 beginning here tomorrow.

The events, in team championship, will be held in men's category as best of five matches for Rahimatools Cup, women-best of three matches for Chadha Cup, junior boys - best of three matches for Narang Cup and junior girls best of three matches for Shafi Qureshi Cup, Organising Committee chairman Alok Kumar Saboo and seretary S Muralidharan told reporters here.

The participants in the two-day event, conducted jointly by the Exclusive Club, Calicut and Kozhikode District Badminton Association, will be from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu, they said.
