INDIA LAND to set up IT Park in city

Chennai, Sep 27 (UNI) India Land and Properties Ltd (INDIA LAND), a part of Americorp and a global player in real estate investment, development and management, today announced the launch of a mega IT Park Project here in the city.

Addressing presspersons, Company Director and Chief Operating Officer S Salaikumaran said the IT Park Project called 'Chennai Tech Park' would be set up in 10 acres of land at Ambattur Industrial Estate, Chennai, with a total built-up space of 2.5 million sqft.

He claimed that the proposed IT Park would be one of the largest IT Park Projects in India.

For Americorp Group's INDIA LAND, this was the first development project in the country.

The project would be completed by March 2007, he said.

He said the proposed IT Park would emerge as a sought after destination for major global and Indian IT, ITES companies.

The Park would have energy efficiency and eco-friendly features to match Gold Rated Green Building norms, he added.

He said the park building would have 17 floors, including three levels in the basement. Exclusive lift lobbies, including special VIP lift, hawk eyed building management systems and fool-proof security backed by 24-hour surveillance cameras, would be installed in the proposed Park.

The business affairs of the company are being managed by a professional Board of directors and the day-to-day operations by a team of highly qualified professionals experienced in conceptualization, planning and execution of large high-tech IT parks and infrastructure projects like TIDEL Park, he added.
