Govinda's nephew and others remanded to judicial custody till Oct 3

Mumbai, Sep 27 (UNI) Actor turned Congress MP Govinda's nephew Janmedra Ahuja and three others arrested by the city police last Saturday on charges of assault and intent to molest a woman have been sent to judicial custody till October three.

All the four were produced before the Bandra Magistrate court today and remanded to judicial custody till October three.

Police have arrested Janmendra Ahuja, son of Govinda's brother Kirti Ahuja alongwith three of his friends - Bilal Shanavaz Khan, Gaurav Baghai and Purav Jagdish Mehta, all residents of Lokhandwala in Juhu area of the city on a complaint filed by Dayanand Chincholikar, who is personal assistant to Maharashtra Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sunil Tatkare.

Mr Chincholikar, in his complaint alleged that on last Thursday, the youths passed remarks about his wife, and when he objected, they abused and bashed him up. After the incident, they fled from the place in their car.
