GOC General visits Manipur, checked security situation

Imphal, Sep 27 (UNI) GOC 3 Corps Lieutenant General M S Dadwal on his three day tour to Manipur will visit 26 Sector Asom Rifles Headquarters at Chandel and Headquarters 10 Sector Asom Rifles at Ukhrul today.

He had been touring all the military units of the state, sources said.

The General Officer was received by IGAR (South) Major General B K Chengapa at Mantripukhri yesterday and was apprised of the security situation and the developmental projects being undertaken by Asom Rifles in the state.

General Dadwal also had a meeting with state Governor S S Sidhu.
