EU confirms Solana to meet Iran's Larijani on Weds

BRUSSELS, Sep 27 (Reuters) European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana will meet chief Iranian nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani in Berlin today for more talks to resolve the dispute over Iran's nuclear programme, the EU confirmed.

Solana's spokeswoman Cristina Gallach said the meeting would take place around 5:00 p.m. 2030 ist.

Gallach has declined to comment on reports of an imminent deal brokered by Solana on the nuclear standoff. The United States reacted cautiously today, saying Tehran had so far not provided a definitive response.
