DTDC launches special offer for students

New Delhi, Sep 27: Leading air express and cargo company DTDC today launched its special 'Student Academy Express' for students sending their application forms to universities in the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand.

As part of the offer, documents weighing upto 250 gms would be charged Rs 475 if addressed to universities or colleges in these select countries, while it would cost students Rs 550 to send their application forms weighing not more than 500 gms.

''DTDC has always been committed to moving beyond its business goals and by offering students lower-than-ordinary rates for sending their university application forms, we are helping them to pursue their dreams in obtaining quality educations which will stand them in good stead all through their life,'' DTDC Chairman and Managing Director Subhasish Chakraborty said.

The offer can be availed at any of DTDC's branch or franchisee offices throughout India and is valid all year round with no requirement for the production of any special documents like student ID card, copy of application form etc at the time of booking. Headquartered at Bangalore, DTDC enjoys a market share of nearly Rs 270 crore. It currently serves around 10, 000 pincode areas and has over 3,700 franchised outlets supported by 176 offices which includes its regional offices, area offices, branch offices, operational hubs and sub-branches.

DTDC has entered into an association with Reliance ADAG Group, and has on its Board, a Director from Reliance.
