Delhi win twin Federation Cup titles

New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) Hosts Delhi came up with a stellar performance to win the titles in both men's and women's category of the Narain Singh Mann Memorial Federation Cup throw ball championship here today.

In the men's section, Delhi pipped Karnataka 15-13, 15-12 in a thrilling contest to emerge victors. Chhattisgarh beat Madhya Pradesh to clinch third position.

In the women's category, the hosts edged past Tamil Nadu 16-14, 15, 13 in a keenly contested match to lift the title.

Karnataka eves pipped Chhattisgarh to claim the third place.
