Court issues property attachment order against planning officer

Patna, Sep 27 (UNI) A Special Vigilance court today ordered the attachment of the properties of absconding Planning officer J J B Tirki of Ranchi district in connection with the alleged financial irregularities of Rs 1.5 crore in the Swarn Jayanti Rozgar Yojana in 2004.

Special Judge Ramnivas Prasad issued the property attachment order.

Former District Magistrate Gautam Goswami, now lodged in Beur central jail, is one of the accused in the scam.
