Controller suspends licenses of nine chemists

Jammu, Sep 27 (UNI) The licenses of nine chemists were today suspended for violating various provisions of drugs and consmetics act.

The licenses were suspended by Controller Drugs and Food Control Organisation (CDFCO).

According to an official release, the step has been taken to ensure compliance of directions of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court in this regard.

The CDFCO has also impressed upon the owners of retail and wholesale drug outlets to adhere to the directions of the High Court with regard to sale transactions of the drugs.

Anybody found violating conditions of the licenses shall be booked and dealt with strictly, he warned.
