BAI names team for Colombo events

Kozhikode, Sep 27 (UNI) International P C Thulasi of Kerala was included in the 10 member team selected for the Asia Under-16 Mixed Badminton Team Events 2006 to be held in Colombo on October 28 and 29.

A communication to this effect was received from the Badminton Association of India, (BAI) Kerala Badminton (Shuttle) Association secretary S Muralidharan told reporters here today.

The other members of the team include: Boys: Saurabh Verma (Madhya Pradesh), M Prasanth, Sumeet Reddy (both from AP) and Raj Kumar (Punjab). Reserve: Sai Praneet (AP).

Girls: N Siki Reddy (AP), Vaishali Barja (Gujarat), Prajakta Sawant (Maharashtra). Reserve: Ankita Ashok (Karnataka).
