ASI arrested by the ACB for accepting bribe
Kolhapur, Sep 27: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Police for accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from one Raju Bhagwan Malve here.
The accused ASI, Mr Kundlik Kamble, was attached to the Vadgaon Police Station at Hatkanangale tehsil, ACB sources said.
He is alleged to have demanded the bribe from Raju after his wife lodged a complaint against him, following a domestic quarrel.
Acting on a complaint filed by Raju, ASI Kamble was arrested while accepting the bribe from the complainant at Vadgaon last evening, ACB sources said.
