Tea garden executives should be alert: Asom Govt

Guwahati, Sep 26 (UNI) The Asom government has asked the Tea garden executives in the state to be alert in the wake of renewed belligerence by the banned ULFA against tea companies in the state.

Following the Saturday night killing of a senior tea garden executive of Hologhabi Tea estate under Digboi police station area in Tinsukia district by the ULFA militants, the administration has sounded red alert.

Officials sources said the tea garden management have been asked to keep the nearest police station informed about the movement of their executives for their security.
