Rupee closes flat at 45.929/93/USD

Mumbai, Sep 26: Indian rupee today closed flat at Rs 45.929/93 per US dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 45.94 per US dollar, a money market trader said.

RBI today fixed the reference rate at Rs 45.97/USD compared to the previous rate of Rs 45.86/USD.

The six-month forward premia was fixed higher at 1.30 per cent and the one year premia was fixed at 1.31 per cent. The Indian currencies performance against other currencies was, however, mixed. Against Euro it was Rs 86.92, against Pound Sterling it was Rs 58.20, against Yen it was Rs 39.37.
