Minor fire in high security South Block

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) A minor fire broke out in the high security South Block which houses PMO and other ministries here late tonight.

Fire department officials said the blaze started due to sparking in a computer processor at 2155 hrs at South Block which also houses places where ministry of external affairs and ministry of defence are located.

The fire was immediately controlled and fire department had sent four fire tenders to the site.

There were no reports of any loss of life and injuries, the officials said.
