Kalidas award function at Ujjain

Ujjain, Sept 26: Presentation of the prestigious Kalidas Samman, instituted by the Madhya Pradesh government, will be held at Ujjain from next year instead of Bhopal at present.

A decision to this effect was taken here yesterday at the All India Kalidas Festival Organising Committee meeting held under the chairmanship of state Culture Minister Laxmikant Sharma.

The meeting decided to organise the silver jubilee function next year in an elaborate manner, official sources said.
