Kadam lambasts state govt for negligence in health matters
Thane, Sep 26 (UNI) Leader of Opposition in the State Assembly, Ramdas Kadam today lashed out at the Maharashtra government for its lethargy leading to health issues in the state.
During his visit here, he told reporters, as the state government did not utilise the funds meant for AIDS eradication to the tune of Rs 10 crore, subsequently received funds amounting to Rs 100 crore had to be returned to the Centre.
''This indicates that the state government ignores the health care in the district,'' he said.
''That the state government has failed on all aspects is evident from the manner in which it has ignored health issues, ergo funds allocated to health could not be utilised fully,'' added Mr Kadam.
