Heavy, isolated rains in AP

Hyderabad, Sep 26 (UNI) Heavy rain occurred at a few places over Telangana and Rayalaseema and isolated rains over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, a release from the Weather office said here today.

Chittoor recorded heavy rainfall of 8 cm.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cms were - Satyavedu 6, Venkatagiri Kota 4, Arogyavaram, Tirupathi, Elamanchili, Karimnagar, Kuppam, Pakala, Puttur, Thambalapalle and Tada 3 each, the release added.
