Four killed as truck hits scooter, motorcycle

Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Sep 26 (UNI) Four persons died in an accident after a truck hit a motorcycle and a scooter in Sahibabad area here.

The driver of the truck has been arrested, said an area official.

The truck, coming from Delhi, hit a scooter near Krishna Medical College and killed two of its occupants on the spot.

After hitting the scooter, the driver lost balance and hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction. While one died on the spot, another succumbed on way to the hospital, the official said.

The truck has been impounded and a case registered, police said.
