Evergreen Dev Anand celebrates 83rd birthday in Croatia

Mumbai, Sep 26 (UNI) Evergreen Bollywood legend Dev Anand celebrated his 83rd birthday today.

The workholic that he is, Devsaab as he is popularly known, is in Croatia scouting for locations as well as a leading lady for his forthcoming film 'When Heartbeats are the same'.

Last year, he was at the Gateway of India shooting on his birthday for 'Mr Prime Minister'.

Devsaab will play an important role in this film as well.

He is the evergreen star of the Indian silver screen and as he turns 83 years young, the ageless Dev Anand remembers the days gone by with a hint of emotion.

Originally from Lahore now in Pakistan, the handsome and debonair Devsaab came to Mumbai in 1943 and rose to become one of the greatest stars of Hindi cinema.

He was the epitome of the suave, urban gentleman in his heydays.
