Doctor arrested for taking out patient's eye

Lucknow, Sep 26 (UNI) A doctor has been arrested for allegedly taking out the eyes of a woman patient in Ambedkar Nagar district.

Heeralal, a native of Patauna village, had lodged an FIR on September 24 at Akbarpur police station against the accused, Dr Ganga Ram Chakravarthy, for taking out his wife Rajkumari's eyes.

The victim was experiencing headache since last couple of days.

following which she had visited the doctor.

The accused was arrested last night.
