'Brahmotsavam' begins at Tirumala

Tirumala, Sep 26 (UNI) The nine-day annual 'Brahmotsavam' at Tirumala began with religious and devotional fervor tonight with Lord Venkateswara mounted on a vehicle.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, Endowments Minister J C Divakar Reddy, M L As, M Ps and thousands of devotees participated in a procession amidst chanting of 'Govindanamams', a form of worshipping Lord Venkateswara.
