Bihar MLA acquitted by a Jharkhand's court
Hazaribagh, Sep 26 (UNI) A local court today acquitted Rama Singh, Bihar LJP MLA, who was remanded by police in a case of abduction of a doctor for extortion.
District and sessions judge M M Singh today announced the acquital of Mr Rama Singh, a Legislator from Mahnar Assembly area in Vaishali district of Bihar.
Mr Singh was charged with kidnapping Dr Umesh Singh, who was posted at the Vishnugarh primary health centre in this district and kidnapped from the outskirts of Hazaribagh when he was on his way to Ranchi on April 17, 2003.
Later on Mr Singh was recovered from the Hajipur in Bihar on May 6, 2003.
