ABN AMRO Asset Mgmt launches 'Discretionary Portfolio Mgmt Svcs'

Mumbai, Sep 26 (UNI) ABN AMRO Asset Management (India) today announced the launch of 'Portfolio Managers' -- its Discretionary Portfolio Management Services (PMS) -- which will offer innovative structured products across different asset classes to its investors.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Romesh Sobti, Chairman - Board of Directors of ABN AMRO Asset Management said, ''There has been a significant rise in the pace of wealth creation in India in the last few years and there is a growing demand for investment management services among high net-worth individuals that we are looking to fulfill.'' The company's Managing Director Nikhil Johri said, the service is targeted at an investor who understands the value of long-term investment in equities, along with the associated risks. ''Combining our local knowledge and ABN AMRO's global experience in investment management, our team will strive to create innovative investment products to suit the different investment needs of our clients,'' Mr Johri added.

Mr Sameer Narayan has been appointed as the Senior Portfolio Manager for ABN AMRO Portfolio Managers.
