Wife files harassment case against ASP
Kochi, Sep 25 (UNI) A police officer has approached the Kerala High Court for anticipatory bail following a complaint by his wife for alleged harassment.
Aluva Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Vikramjit Singh has approached the court following a complaint filed by his wife Dr Jasleen Virk, daughter of S S Virk, DGP of Punjab, against him and his parents alleging ill-treatment.
In his bail application, the ASP said he was innocent and the complaint was part of a conspiracy to tarnish his image. He also denied there was demand for dowry and gifts.
Vikramjit, who is from Patiala in Punjab, married Dr Virk on June five last year.
The case will be taken up for hearing on September 28.
