Two awarded life in prison in Jharkhand

Hazaribagh, Sep 25 (UNI) A local court today sentenced life imprisonment to two accused of a murder case.

Additional Sessions Judge R K Pandey rewarded life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1,000 to Deva Kahar and Manoj Rajak, found guilty in the murder of Laxman Mahto alias Dharmendra Mahto, killed at Barkagaon on September 24 in 1997.

Deva Kahar, Manoj Rajak, Subhash Choudhary and Dwarika Choudhary were made named accused in the case.

The court acquitted Subhash Choudhary and Dwarika choudhary from the case.
