State NCP meet on October 28-29 in Mumbai
Mumbai, Sep 25 (UNI) The two-day State-level convention of NCP will be held here from October 28 in the presence of party chief and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar.
The conclave was earlier scheduled for October 14 and 15.
Nationalist Congress Party general secretary Gurunath Kulkarni said that the meeting will be held at the Shanmukhanand Hall and will conclude with a public rally at Shivaji Park in Dadar.
The upcoming elections for 166 municipal councils and two nagar panchayats in November and the crucial elections to 27 Zilla Parishads and 14 municipal corporations in February-March 2007, and a discussion on the alliance with the Congress are on the top agenda of the two-day meet.
