SP rebel MLAs petiton hearing tomorrow

Lucknow, Sep 25 (UNI) The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court will tomorrow hear a petition challenging the termination of house membership of the four Uttar Pradesh Assembly members.

The order was passed by a division bench comprising Justices Pradeep Kant and B B Agarwal on a writ petition filed by the legislators -- Omwati Devi, Sunder Lal, Kalyan Singh Dohre and Ratan Lal Ahirwar.

On August 19, UP assembly speaker Mata Prasad Pandey had terminated the house membership of these legislators for violating the Samajwadi Party whip.
