Sonia to visit AP on Sep 27
Hyderabad, Sep 25 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi will be on a day's visit to Andhra Pradesh on September 27.
According to party sources, Ms Sonia will reach Renugunta by flight and proceed to Kadapa where she will inaugruate the Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and unveil a statue of Rajiv Gandhi. She will also inaugurate the Nursing college and hospital buildings and lay the foundation stone for Dental College and a protected water supply scheme of the Kadapa corporation.
After addressing a public meeting at Putlapalli village on the outskirts of Kadapa, she will release water for agricultural lands from the Brahma Sagar reservoir to irrigate 50,000 acres of land.
Later she will proceed to Kurnool where she will inaugurate the statue of former Chief Minister late Kotla Vijaya Bhasakara Reddy. She will also address a public meeting there before leaving for Hyderabad.
Ms Gandhi will return to New Delhi on the same day.
