Shimrah slams six as Manipur school beat J

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) Khararpam Shimrah slammed in six -- hattrick apiece in either half -- as Ukhrul HS School, Manipur drubbed Burn HS School Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir 13-0 in the league round match of the Subroto Cup Football Tournament for under-17 boys here today.

Shimrah opened the floodgates in the third minute before others joined the party. Th Keishing, Thanrei Pangui scored a brace each to contribute in J and K's humiliation.

Elsewhere, Nobel Academy, Nepal routed St Patric's Anglo Indian HS School, Tamil Nadu 10-0. Nirajan Malla scored a quartet for the winners.

In other matches, Zahira College, Sri Lanka defeated MCC, Calicut, Kerala 5-2 while SAI Eastern Centre, Kolkata edged past Victoria Institution, Malaysia 2-1.
