Sensex trades 22 pts up in the noon trade

Mumbai, Sept 25 (UNI) The Bombay Stock Exchange Sensitve Index (Sensex) was today trading 22 points up as buying in midcap and smallcaps began once again.

Sensex is currently at 12,258.75 .

Amongst the sectoral indices on the BSE, Banks are down 0.02 per cent, FMCG is down 0.47 per cent and the IT sector is down 0.28 per cent.

The gainers on the index are Tata Motors, Reliance industries, Tata Steel, Bharti Airtel, Ranbaxy, Reliance industries, ONGC, ICICI, Maruti Udyog and Cipla, all up between 0.35 to 2.10 per cent.

The losers are Bajaj Auto, TCS, Dr Reddy's lab, HLL, ITC, Grasim Industries, L&T, HDFC, ACC and Satyam Computers, all down between 0.21 to1.19 per cent.
