Rs one lakh looted from petrol pump

Darbhanga, Sep 25 (UNI) Armed criminals looted Rs one lakh from a petrol pump near Shahpur village under Town police station area here last night.

District Superintendent of Police Ratnamani Sanjeev said here today that three motorcycle-borne criminals reached the petrol pump and looted the cash after a scuffle with its employees.

Criminals also snatched the petrol pump owner's motorcycle while they were returning.

Mr Sanjeev said they had looted another motrocycle on Darbhanga-Kamtaul road.

Raids are on to nab the criminals and recover the looted items, he added.
