Rs One lakh looted from petrol pump

Darbhanga, Sep 25 (UNI) Armed criminals looted Rs one lakh from a petrol pump near Shahpur village under Town police station area here last night.

District Superintendent of Police Ratnamani Sanjeev said here today that three motorcycle borne criminals swooped at the petrol pump and looted the cash after a scuffle with its employees.

Criminals also snatched the petrol pump owner's motorcycle while they were returning.

Mr Sanjeev said they had looted another motrocycle on Darbhanga-Kamtaul road.

Raids are on to nab the criminals and recover the looted items, he added.
