Protest note to Pakistan Rangers over infiltration bid
Sriganganagar, Sep 25 (UNI) Border Security Force officials have sent a protest note to Pakistan rangers over the attempted infiltration bid by three alleged Pakistani nationals near Anoopgarh in Ganganagar district.
A commandant-level meeting between the officials of India and Pakistan border guards may be held in the next two days to doscuss the matter.
BSF jawans gunned down three alleged heavily armed infiltrators inm the early hours yesterday after a six-hour long gunbattle. It is being believed that the intruders were being given covering fire by Pak security forces. Pakistan Rangers, however, denied their involvement in the infiltration attempt.
Meanwhile, the post-mortem of the intruders will begin soon.
