PowerDsine appoints Anixter India as distributor

New Delhi, Sep 25 (UNI) PowerDsine Ltd, an Israel-based pioneer in the Power over Ethernet (PoE) market, today announced it had appointed Anixter India as distributor of its products in country.

According to the distribution deal, Anixter will offer PowerDsine's Midspan range of products across India while PowerDsine will provide adequate training and technical support to Anixter and each of their channel partners and system integrators, the company said in a statement.

Anixter is a global distributor of communication products and electrical and electronic wire and cable.

''We are looking forward to expanding our market presence in India through our partnership with Anixter,'' PowerDsine Country Manager (India) Vikas Pinjarkar said.

Being recoganised as the world's largest distributor of electrical and electronic wire and cable devices, he said, ''We are sure Anixter's capability will help us effectively realise the benefits of Power over Ethernet technology to our the potential customers in India.'' UNI VJ RA RAI1837
