Mizoram Assembly session to begin on Oct 17

Aizawl, Sept 25: Mizoram Governor Madan Mohan Lakhera has summoned the Assembly's autumn session to begin on October 17.

Local administrative officials said the State Municipal Bill, 2006, to create a municipal body here, is likely to be introduced during the session.

Besides, five new bills related to agriculture, administration and law is also expected to be introduced during the autumn session, sources added.
