Mizo cops leave for C'garh to combat naxalism

Aizawl, Sept 25: The first batch of 2nd Mizoram Indian Reserve Police battalion consisting of 78 personnel here today left for Chhattisgarh as an advance party to combat naxalism.

As per schedule, another batch of 700 personnel would leave tomorrow, official sources said.

The battalion would be deployed in the most trouble-torn Chattisgarh's Dhantewara district.
