Mircosoft's 'Shiksha' proj test for Punjab teachers
Chandigarh, Sep 25: The Punjab government has decided to conduct a course completion certification test under the Microsoft project 'Shiksha' for all qualified government teachers, who have already obtained computer training.
The test will be held from October three to six at the respective training locations, that is at DIETs and In-Service Training Centers across the state. The state education department will supervise the conduct of the test alongwith Microsoft trainers.
Disclosing this here today, a official spokesman said that the Microsoft project 'Shiksha' had been imparting a 12-day free computer training to the government teachers since April last year.
All qualified teachers trained till batch-025 were eligible for this test.
The spokesman informed that all those teachers who clear the certification test, would be awarded universally acknowledged course completion certificate by Microsoft.
